Four guitarists. Three provinces. One Cafe in Vancouver on Friday November 4th. With four guitars the sky is the limit! Come to Our Town Cafe to have a beverage, and take in a variety of enjoyable guitar music.

This event will be featuring Steve Cowan from Montreal, winner of first prizes in prestigious international competitions including Guitare Montreal, Boston GuitarFest, Wilson Center Guitar Festival and Competition, and most recently the Indiana International Guitar Competition. Steve has had great success commissioning new works for guitar by Canadian composers, and places an emphasis on taking this music everywhere he performs. His debut CD 'Pour Guitare' features many of these works.

Michael Ibsen, Joel Thomson, and Alec Pearson are all guitarists living in Vancouver, although both Alec and Michael are originally from Alberta. Come see what Canada has produced in these four players!
